Hello guys ! i just received my anycubic photon S ! It's currently curing. Any recommandations ? i found the github with resin curing recommandations, but i have questions . First are they thesame between photon and photon S ? I haven't found the FTD dentifix, but i have the curing time from my previous D7 to begin with. Any recommandations on what to Change first ? Maybe if i can have some nice results i'll be able to add them on the github :)

I'm looking for some sort of chart that compares resins, on print detail, impact resistance, softness/bendability, and smell/fumes. Since SLA printing has been around for a while now, I was certain I'd be able to find plenty of macro photos and comparison google sheets on this, but I've not been able to find anything. Does anyone know of anything like this?

I'm after a resin that's as strong and impact resistant as the Siraya Blu, but easier on the smell, since my ventilation fan is on the weaker side. The eco/bio resins just came out and seem pretty promising with impact resistance and smell, but I can't find anything on print detail.

I want to print the building shown in the photos. Here it's shown sitting flat on the build plate, with supports automatically calculated by Chitubox. I sliced it and ran it through the Photon File Validator, and got the message "Whoopee, all is good, no unsupported areas."

But, when I turn it upside down I can see all the red on the flat areas, under the walls and under the tops of the windows.

Will this thing print OK?

This may be an obvious question but here goes.

How do you guys check a print in the early stages to see it is actually still on the build plate when it is not yet coming up above the top of the vat?

Would it be ok to hit pause and check then resume?

I have an issue with a piece. Once painted with rust oleum the piece tend to deform itself, then it brokes. I tought it was a bad batch of resin(anycubic translucent green) but I dont know if the reain can be corroed by some component of the paint. It is a tramway in H0 scale. The walls are thin about 1,5mm. Is there a problem with the paint? Overcured? Subcured?

The file can be found at Thingiverse, Ganz steam railcar or something like that

Is there any reason not to go overkill on exposure times for bottom layers? I figure over exposing the bottom layers gives better adhesion and as long as you aren't printing directly on the surface, you aren't affecting print quality.

Wanting to be as cheap as possible I gave RIT dye a shot on my resin infinity stone. I let the print sit in a cup of near boiling water with yellow RIT dye for about an hour then UV cured afterwards. I’m super happy with the result and I only spent about $3 on the dye.
