Did the carbon filter mod for my photon and made a marked difference in odor.

Now I can run off the shelf respirator masks to decrease smell and make it safer to be around.

Where I differed from the thingiferse file is that I had no interest in printing the backplate vertically so I had a friend use the waterjet cutter to rip out a couple of plates in a few minutes.

I'll end up sandblasting and maybe coat them. But they fit nice and the mod was a success.

Well, my most frustrating recent issue is when printing, the supports apparently fail? I check my prints in the validator and they have no islands. So then I start the prints and after a period I can see the supports are printed but the object just doesn't stick to the damned things. I tried printing an Ogre Zombie and the body didn't start forming correctly until about its waist. Until that point, he was stuck to the FEP.

I know I'm going overboard on this but my settings are:
Layer - .02
Exposure - 14
Bottom Layers - 7
Bottom Ex - 65

Maybe I am missing something?

I've seen people talk about a detergent wash after an propan-2-ol wash, is it better than a double wash of propan-2-ol? Setting up a proper wash station currently and any input would be great

Hello, after already having the Photon S I also bought the Photon for a very good price. You can already notice when switching on the Photon what a significant difference in terms of fans there is. ? I turned off the small fan using the gcode, but I think the bottom fan (Boosfan JD6010) makes the noise!?! Which would be an alternative? Thanks in advance!
