Soooooo, hey all.

I got my new Photon S delivered... kind of. It was delivered internationally and the shipping company opened it and removed the standard issue green resin. Ironically I had two other packages of just pure resin, and they came through fine... sooo... yeah.

Anyway, right now I'm attempting my first print of the faithful old matrix grid cubey thing (although I'm having to do it in Anycubic white resin).

So, right out of the gate I'm in the "What settings to use?" playground.

My actual question:

I see the really super awesome "Anycubic Photon Best Resin Settings" Google doc that a lot of people seem to participate in... but I'm wondering how much of that data transfers to the "S" version instead of the normal Photon?

I read that the light is more powerful on the S? Is it notably stronger and I should adjust suggested exposure times down some?

Hi there,

I need some help from all of you.
My first and Second Print didnt printed at all.
The leveling should be allright,base exposure was increased, uv light check was good.....

I do not know whatelse I can try, that the Photon is Printing.

I use the anycubic green resin ?

PS: Nö cured resin at all in the vat.

Why does this keep happening?

Ultimately the model(s) drop from the plate; sometimes at 70%, sometimes at 85% and even once at 96%. I have recently replaced the FEP but have had at 20+ prints with 4 of the same models on the plate with no issues. I have relevelled the bed 3 times using the Flint Reid method. I have moved the models on the build plate from centre, X bias, and Y bias. I have dropped from 4 models to two and tried again after relevelling. Every time, every print, they always fail.

IPA (96-99,8% alc) versus ethanol (95%) for cleaning prints. As for myself - ethanol came out almost twice cheaper, less stinky (my cats kept throwing up all over the appartment while I was working with IPA en masse even though they were in the other room) and dries faster, cleans models as good as IPA, but i start to find small caverns on large flat areas and wonder if it is ethanol to blame. Any oppinions?

Just got my Photon, and am having some trouble leveling it.
Tried the paper method, got a failed print (didnt stick to the build plate)
Tried the Flint method, but the bracket his the VAT before the plate is leveled.
What to do?
