A thank you post to the group. Thanks for getting me over the hurdles I've experienced so far.

Print success but design failure. Made it too thin and slight. Couldn't get the supports off without breaking it. I am pretty amazed at the detail of the print though.

I'm also going to change how I do supports. Balls might look like a good idea in the slicer, but they are probably only really useful for larger, tougher prints where you can remove them more aggressively.

So ive been predominantly printing in 0.05mm but want to move down to 0.02mm

What variables do i need to be aware of, im assuming the exposure time needs to change, but would this normally be less or more?

I'm currently printing with monocure clear at 9 seconds for 0.05. My thought is to do an exposure test a at 0.02mm starting at 6 seconds?

Thoughts?

Has anyone had any trouble buying straight from their website? It says my order was fulfilled but talking them it seems like it hasn't been and the response time from them hasnt been great. I know I probably just need to be patient but I figured I'd check and see if I was just an unlucky outlier.

So, my 26 hour ( or so) print. Just getting used to resin and the photon. Cant wait to clean him up and paint. Just for giggles, the longest print I've had with my fdm printer is 45 hours. That was for one part, whole model took something like 300+ hours.

Hey, I’ve been using Monocure rapid white and grey for a while. I started getting film/skin developing in the vat during prints. Some floating, some stuck to the bottom. It seems to be getting worse. Does not appear to be a screen issue. I know some other folks have had this issue before, any recommendations?

So question. Do u guys think printing something like this should be done with no supports to except for the inside. I've gotten it before but it keeps failing the last CPL days on an angle or change the times

The last pic is the 1 from yesterday. The bottom is still kinda warped but it's not as bad as today's lol. ND the red is a different version that printed alot better when I 1st started this project lol
