So with an out of the box LCD issue one one of the two Photons I opened today I'm going to work out the orientation for this and the rest of the parts for the kit I'm designing.

I sliced exactly same model in chitubox 1.4 and in photon workshop and then ran them through photon file validator. File sliced in photon workshop shows no unsupported islands, file sliced by shitubox shows a LOT of them. Supports were added using chitubox auto support function. Any idea why it happens? Up to this day I've been using chitubox for everything par slicing, for which I used default photon workshop (mostly for the options of modifying lift speed distance etc.). Today I discovered how to "unlock" those options in chitubox, and tried to eliminate photon workshop from my regular workflow, yet this issue happened while comparing results. Any idea whether it is of any significance?

Good morning, thinking about picking up a Photon today and I'm curious which consumables people recommend stocking up on right out of the gate. Resin and Gloves seem like obvious ones, but I'm a little unclear on how quickly a FEP is expected to lose effectiveness (without additional accident).

As far as resin, what's are your opinions on the difference between the translucent and opaque resins from Anycubic?

This is for the ppl using spacers an what not to stop the arm hitting the vat u shouldnt need any at all coz I’ve always wondered why my z sensor tab wasnt flat on the block (pic 1) sits on an angle and also wondered why it come with the small allen key screwdriver (pic2) an but ive noticed this lil hole at the back of the block at the top (pic3) took the allen screwdriver an what ya know theres a dam grub screw in there to adjust the z sensor tab position. so anyone having troubles with the block hitting the vat maybe have a look an adjust this grub screw.
