After a month of carefully placing models on the print bed to avoid the big dead spot in my lcd, I finally replaced it last night. Amazed at how easy it was.

Ok, you guys have been rock stars helping me out. Quick question....after i level the bed. Is the bed supposed to still move? It swivels a little, even though it’s been tightened. Thoughts?

So... I have a somewhat crazy question, but has anyone added iron powder to resin to make it ferromagnetic?

I'm thinking of adding magnets to some miniatures and I'm thinking the iron particulates might help them adhere even if I don't have a second magnet to attach to.

I’m getting ready to order my Photon (my first 3D printer) and I was wondering what all comes with it? Does it come with any resin or do I need to order that separately? Does it come with spare FEPs or will I need to order that separately? I know I’ll need to restock on nitrile gloves and rubbing alcohol as well as get a rinse tub and UV curing lamp; anything else I’m missing?

Hello, i am trying to print this ring with my Photon S, the quality pretty good but it's still missing most of the holes in the main model, i used the green resin that came with the printer with the default settings except for the layer height i used 0.02mm. Can i do a better print if i played with the settings or is this the maximum i can get ?

Is there a limited window of opportunity for curing? I.e. if I haven't rigged up a UV box yet and a print finished when it's dark/overcast/rainy, is there a ticking timer to get some UV on it or it won't cure properly?
