Hello everyone! I'm here to thank you all again for all your help, but I can confirm that it was a problem with the resin, I shaked it a lot (even more than before) and it has this appearance (it's Anycubic Photon Black). My guarantee time expired and I can't do anything with it. Could you recommend me a better quality resin please?

New mystery for the scooby gang why on earth is the photon not printing feet on a load of models? yet half the same build plate came out fine its also doing it on tiny 6mm infantry it wierd.

So, finally busted my fep. Put the replacement on no problem but looking to order more. Has anyone used the kesoto one from amazon? It's a good 15$ cheaper but I'm always leary when using something I haven't tried.

So nothing but problems as usual. My printer was working fine. I left for a week, come back home and the z axis won’t move so I update firmware and surprisingly it works this time (couple weeks ago my other machine needed new motherboard) so anyways I start a print and this happens:

Instead of a smooth up and down, it’s like 2 quick jerks yo and then one down.........needless to say I checked the print at 2% and it was a fail. Anyone seen this before?

I ran into a problem on my latest print. I'm printing some bits for Gloomhaven, and half of them printed fine while the other half separated at their supports. Everything was on a 15° tilt, the missing models looked identical to the ones that were successful. Printed at 0.05, I've been exclusively printing at 0.02 prior to this. 11 second exposure.

What would cause this to happen? Is it that my FEP is due for a cleaning/replacement? Or perhaps under supported and the weight was too much and I just got lucky on the other half? Something else? Exposure time too short for the larger layer size?

I have seen people in the group saying not to use IPA b/c it's toxic. I tried researching that and could only find where it's toxic in huge quantities.

So what should I do to "wash" the resin after the print is done before the final UV cure? Is there a different "wash" for different resins or a one size fits all kinda "wash"?

Also, as far as "washing" goes, can you just re-use the washing solution (like IPA) if you use some kind of coffee filter or something to get it back into the bottle and catch all the resin? (If so, best kind of filter or brand of filter?)

Someone answered my question about not keeping the printer outside in the garage in the winter b/c it would get too cold, is there a "too hot" temperature as well? I'm working on clearing a space in an insulated attic room, but it's not ready YET.
