Hey guys, girls and zebras.

Since so many of you had ideas on this subject, I’d like to get them down in one place.

I build large things. Things that need to be joined. I typically join them with resin, but the issue is that it’s very hard to cure the wet resin on the inside of the joint. The outer part cures leaving a gooey center that leaks out over time.

I have recently started using APOXIE with good results, and would like to further perfect my results.

I’m thinking, maybe 5 minute epoxy the middle and then smooth out the rough edges with apoxie/green stuff/grey stuff? In the pictures you see past projects that were joined with resin and produce messy details.

What can I do to make the joining solid and the finish absolutely perfect? Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
