Hey, looking for ways to calibrate the printer for push fit, at the moment I am having to manually adjust every groove to give shrink space from the printing/curing and was hoping there was something I could do to keep me from having to modify every join point.

Just wanted to show this. It is the heater case that is featured on this site. It was printed in the green resin. 3 bottom layers at 50 seconds and the rest of the layers a 10 seconds at .1 layer height. I did break one small part when removing the supports. It was printed flat on the build plate. Lots of supports to remove and it took about 3 hours to print. Now, if only it would be able to withstand the heat from the heater itself.

Im still having issues with large flat items getting stick to the Fep film after a few layers. As you see, even when i retire the stuck print, it leave a mark.
I balanced and level the plate with many and different ways, also tried different settings.
I think im gonna give up and print it vertical or tilt it.
What do you think? Anyone has print something Big and flat like this and has worked?

Am I expecting too much? The plate should be full. Losing ~20% of the parts, and the worst part is that I must drain the vat and clean the nubbins off the FEP after every print. Is there anything I can do? The bed seems to be perfectly leveled. I downloaded a spectrum analyzer app and my “FEP tone” was up around 500Hz so I backed the screws off until it was 350Hz. Could a too-tight FEP have caused this? Printing this again now after making that adjustment.

Guys,
Is it me or I have issues wit Z axis? Should I upgrade my photon Z axis rod to something more stable? I have been playing with ameralabs black led resin for a while but those waves from time to time are getting me annoyed.

2 Months - I have printed at least 150 - 200 miniatures (different scales) 5 bottles of Resin and now my second FEP replacement. Love the printer. What a difference a perfectly clear and unscratched FEP makes on print quality for fine details. I wish there was a way to recondition a FEP that was only suffering from cloudy conditions.

I love this little printer. The only problems I've had so far have been related to firmware. Twice I've had to "brush" the firmware (a term from their support team that I take to mean "clean out"). The first time it was because the z axis, fan, and UV light stopped working all at the same time. Yesterday it was because the z axis started operating very very slowly. I had to cancel the print because the z axis was moving painfully slow. I'd love to see a little more focus on firmware issues and stability. I have no idea how it gets into this state where it starts acting weird and needs to be "brushed".
