Hi,
While I repair the printer, a question:
do I need to make a transparent cockpit.
is it possible? What type (and brand) of resin would be the best?

The dread M11800 error again.

Second mainboard, about 12 successful prints (less than 20 on the machine since new) and now this stupid issue again. Have tried all the usual fixes except reflowing the solder on the USB header.

Have we got a definite consensus about what is causing this as I'm at the end of my tether with this thing? There has got to be some sort of hardware fault/quality control issue as only a new mainboard fixed it on my brand new Photon last time.

Not a happy camper after buying 5l of resin.

Hi, recently I bought the Anycubic Resin 1l in orange from eBay and I'm getting only failures with this resin, why? It seems that the print doesn't stick on the printing bed. I've tried to increase the first layer's exposure time but with no success. Also I've tried the green resin that comes with the printer and everything works fine.

I got an anycubic photon last week and for the first 500 ml of the green resin that came with the printer I had no issues. I then tried to print more than I had resin left in the printer w/o thinking and it messed up the film. I replaced with the film that came with the printer, filled up with a grey resin I bought off amazon and releveled the bed. Ever since then I have been unable to get any sort of print to work well (sticking to the bottom).

While typing this post it occurred to me... I bet I have to change the settings to the printer when I switch resin's don't I? I'm using the "Anycubic POT016 LCD Uv 405 nm Rapid Resin for 3D PRINTER-500Mll/ 500G-Grey"

Is there a place for what sort of exposure times I should use on these resins?

Looking for some guidance. I’ve had this printer about a week and for the most part I’ve had success. I created these fruit crates for model railroading. Biggest is O scale (1:48) down to Z scale (1:220). I thought it would be a slam dunk print but most of the crates are filled. Since the pattern is consistent between items and sizes I was convinced I had a random plane I thought to delete in Sketchup. But looking at the model is looked fine. Same with the slicer. Thoughts? Could a reversed face cause this? I did my best to make sure all faces were correct but maybe I missed one.

I have started using Monocure clear resin and I love it, it is more like the consistency of gravy rather than thick honey, so it is easier to work with, and I am sure it fills in gaps while printing better. However I have noticed that when I cure the prints, they turn yellow after a few short minutes of curing in a chamber. Is this innevitable or is there some way to mitigate the effects (I would love to have crystal clear colourless prints).
