Taking advice from previous posted fails, I did run the files through validator. Super helpful in picking out islands, as many of the supports were a point or two off from the islands. Much farther along, but obviously still a fail.

The model is an Knight Artorias off of Thingiverse. I cancelled the print where you see the clean shear at the “face”

Mini 2 is the tmnt mini that was previously a fail, now 100% success.

Mini 3 was the cleric mini that kept printing with no head.. Got head this time (teehee), but his weapon stuck to the plate in a similar fashion.

Sucks because the cleric is a gift for my a player in gaming table tonight.. ?

Thinking it’s the scaling & positioning causing some adhesion on the thinner parts

A different approach to "how to heat your resin vat" topic...
Instead of use this heat pads and stick it to the sides of the vat ...that I think is not practical at all , I just heat the whole cabinet..

Hey everyone. I recently purchased this clear resin ( https://smile.amazon.com/…/B0…/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 ) but I have been hving trouble getting the print settings dialed in.

I have had 3 prints so far and all 3 have failed the same way. The raft will print on the bed fine, but when it starts to print the supports they fail and the rest of the print sticks to the FEP. When I say it fails at the supports I don't mean the supports print and the piece doesn't stick to them, I mean the supports fail to print all together. Sorry for not posting a picture, I thought about it after I threw them away.

Attached are screen shots of the prints I am trying to make as well as my supports and print settings. The zero has been checked and rechecked, the FEP is clean and clear. I think I have something off with my print settings. If anyone can point out anything I am overlooking, please let me know.

Hi folks, I’ve been doing some initial prints with the Photon and I’m impressed. I’m looking to do a lot of prototyping of some simple boxes for some of my research, and I wonder what your collective experiences are with fast prints? I realise I can max out the xy without altering print times, so I guess then it comes down to exposure time and layer thickness settings: I imagine these are correlated, i.e. thicker layers require longer exposure times, but if these two variables aren’t directly related then I should be able to optimise speed? I’m printing with the Anycubic white resin, and have no option to change colour, but I could change brand. Also, my prints are almost entirely uniform in the xy plane, and have large bases, so I should be able to get away with no supports. Many thanks in advance for your help.

How to watch the first layer without waiting a large amount of time?
I don't want to wait 3 hours each time just to know my print is failed after 5 mins.

REALLY pleased with how this has come out!
did a couple of different orientations, and chose 2 copies each of 3 different designs to see what would work best, and out of all 6, 5 came out virtually error free!

I am overjoyed by this! Can't wait to print some more!!

First time printing with the Anycubic Grey Resin.

120s base layers (8)
14s normal (1s off)
printed at 0.03mm resolution.

Took around 8.5 hours and was around 1550 layers.
