So this is a new one for me... any ideas what's causing this? I'm using a disposable Elegoo resin tray with Elegoo Rapid Resin gray. .04 layers at 10 seconds.

No brush or anything touched the mini. I cleaned in an IPA bath followed by diluted Mean Green in a sonic cleaner for 10 minutes.

Edit: I'm also noticing a ton of lost detail.

By making what i call a ''nail bed'' under every piece of jewelry, i not only save time, but i'm sure that the printer will leave a smooth surface behind it. Every ''nails'' have a diameter of 0.5mm and 8mm height, 0.9mm distance between every nails. That make the little piece extremely easy to remove. I prefer an hundred small ones than a few big ones. It is also easy to make the surface behind smooth with a belt sandler.

Following question... Even with Anycubic plant based resin, I feel the smell of resin in the room I print. Should I disconnect the extractor fan? Or should I better make an adapter for exhaust to use a flex pipe from my old vacuum cleaner, which I would just hang out of tipped window? Or maybe someone already has a 3D model for such adapter? I could then print it on my Creality Ender 3.

would replacing the 2k screen with a identical 4k screen work in adding even more detail ? I have a strong feeling that im not the first one who has thaught about this and 4knscreens are not much more expensive than 2k screens so why arent the resin printers equipped with 4k or even 8k screens ? i couldnt find a 4k resin printer and if resolution of the screen matters than it would be a logical quick cheap and simple upgrade to any of these maschines

Really struggling with this new Photon S. (I own another Photon and never have problems like this).

I believe I’ve got the knack of bed leveling and given that layers 1-5 adhere great to the bed and have equal layer heights around I believe this to be true.

However around layer 6, the bed gets pulled out of alignment where the front of the bed gets pulled farther down out of alignment. By layer 10-12 the front of the bed is pulled all the way to the extend of the ball position.

I’ve snugged the key very tight, but every single time the bed starts off great and fails after the bed gets pulled out of alignment.

Factory setting caused layer separation (previously posted) so I adjusted the setting as recommended.

Now the print fails at after the base and start of supports. The suction is so strong it pulls my bed out of alignment. And the. Breaks the print free of the bed at the supports.
