Does anyone know where I can find an accurate resin exposure spreadsheet of some sort. I've found a couple but the exposure times do no match up at all. So, I'm curious to see what everyone else uses/gets they're information from. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone.

I could use some help.

One of my first print (left one) was really wonderful with a lot of details.

But this week i've tried to print another model (right one) and details look absolutely not as clear as the first tank. I've tried it 3 times and even with longer exposure it still looks a bit melted.

It's grey anycubic resin on photon S with a lot of support from chitubox. Last test was 8 base layers, 115 sec. 18 sec for normal exposure. (i've also tried in 15 sec & 12 & it's the same).

My bed is leveled, my FEP is quite new.

Any help would be appreciated ? . Thanks a lot!

Question. Would y’all suggest printing this straight on the plate. Or raised and angled. I’ve gotten weeks of bad prints and am on my last leg lol I need dimensions to be pretty close but in the angle prints always give a melted look wherever the supports are

I’m ready to just machine it on my lathe Nd mill

Newb question: Sometimes I notice that flat prints (like dungeon tiles) slip around and distort when I try to print them to the base. I don't have any issues when I use rafts/supports but I'd like to be efficient with my time and resin if possible. Is there something I can do that would allow me to print these kinds of things straight to the build plate?

Thanks for having me! I'm very much considering ordering my first 3D printer, the Photon S, but the more difficult choice I have is what resins to get. I know the machine comes with a 500ml bottle of the trans green, but I also am thinking to get some grey, maybe skin (peach puff), trans yellow, or even orange. My question is, although I'm definitely going to snag a bottle of Anycubic's grey, how does it compare to say, Elegoo, eSun, etc.? Trying to find info via YouTube or Google is no help at all. Are there any differences in quality? I know some Photon owners use Elegoo grey almost exclusively, but nobody seems to mention why. Also, what tape should I use, to border over the edges of the LCD, to prevent any potential resin leaking in, should the PET have issue? I see that Epax's machines come that way, and a bunch of people say it's useful, so I'd like to do it on the Photon S. One can never bee too careful, especially with this stuff.

Having some fun in Photoshop with my print that finished this morning. Character art is from Artisan Guild. Printed with HERO Clear and the head is printed in HERO Black. Printed on the Anycubic Photon. 15 second normal exposure, 70 second bottom exposure. Cleaned in HERO WASH then cured for 10 minutes in the Formlabs cure machine at 35 degrees Celsius.
