I need to paint a really tiny 3D printed house for a miniature I am working on. I'm talking 6x6 mm with 1 mm windows.
What kind of paint do you use? and what kind of brushes?

I am afraid to put primer on it because it would get rid of detail. I tried with enamel paint but didn't like the results much. I would like some paint that can really get good coverage without leaving streaks.

No idea if my LCD display is cracked or if it's the glass protector. Amazon has a replacement LCD for $70, but it doesnt look like it comes with a new glass cover...

I think it’s finally time to change my LDC screen. For about a week, I’ve been running the screen test after every print and it’s been giving me weird results. But if I turn the printer off and back on, the test is normal and then I get a successful print. Except the past two attempts, which produced the same failure on two different Photon files.

Should I go ahead and order a new screen or is there something else this could be? If I do need to order a new screen, where do you all recommend ordering from, and is there anything else I should order, like a screen protector?

If i understand IT right, i only need Support where a Island is. So in the Pictures, i dont need all the Supports or??
90% of it grows from the Layer below, so i Just need Support in the First layers , right in the middle right ?

Need the experts to chime in! The Test Cube printed beautifully (except for the idiot who broke the base off while removing it from the build plate) so I decided to go all-in with the second print. I couldn’t be happier with the print quality, but as you can see, I have a droopy apron. I’ve done enough reading to have some likely suspects, but would love to have someone conform where I went wrong.

I didn’t print at an angle because the model is inherently angled in every direction, but is it possible that the warping happened while it was pulling from the FET?

Many of the supports separated from the base, which gives me a “chicken or the egg” situation, did the droop happen after it separated, or did it separate because of the droop? I used the auto support setting in ChiTu on the medium setting. I left everything else on the default setting. (I also hollowed the model out and added holes to the bottom)

My last concern is that I started the print in the early evening and let it run. It would have finished around 2am and sat until I woke up at 8. Did gravity just tug at the uncurled edges? That doesn’t seem likely, but what do I know?

Of course there may be more options out there...

PLEASE HELP

Ok so i dont think its the file size anymore, my machine did print last night once i made the file smaller, but it was false hope i tried the same print again and i cannot get the machine past the first Layer without it shitting off and turning back on. I am beyond frustrated now with this printer. So far i have...

unplugged it and left it for a bit... worked once or twice

unplugged it with the power on (should drain all the memory) worked once or twice

did the factory reset, worked once for the next print

tried simple file names, 4 different usbs all freshly formatted

plugged directly into the wall on its own power outlet in case of not enough power.

flashed updated firmware...

Went through the phontonsters github troublshooting

I think thats all the trouble shooting but i cant get her to go this morning

when it prints it looks great.

Today i tryed to paint ? Biggest thing i learned was that it isnt really good idea to brush paint with 10+ year old createx airbrush paints. Also it dont help much if you prime with gray, but most of your paints are transparent ?
