New to resin printing. Is my fep film garbage due to being cloudy from a bunch of micro scratches? I tried a print and it came off the bed plate and so I had to clean out my tank and I used hot water and a jewelers rag to wipe it off.

I've had the Photon about a week and am so far quite UNIMPRESSED. Supplied software won't load .stl files (because it can't support 4k screens?); random restarts during print (or just moving the build platform up); and now I'm in looping Captcha hell trying to submit a ticket to ANYCUBIC...

Why oh why don't they have a support forum (rhetorical question)?

EDIT: to everyone who's taken time to reply, thank you!

A point of clarification: I haven't attempted to load an .stl files directly into the Photon - everything I've tried to print has gone through Chitubox and been sliced into a .photon file.

My frustration is less with the ability of the machine than with the spotty and hard-to-access technical support.

So here's something interesting. I put a mix of cured resin objects (Peopoly Tough v2, Siraya Blu, Peopoly Nex Clear, Anycubic Green) into a jar of Klean-Strip Green Lacquer Thinner. In under 24 hours, the objects were brittle and breaking apart. In 48 hours, they were mostly dissolved.

So... the answer is yes. You CAN dissolve cured resin... not easily. But it can be done. At least with some resins.
