Just finished printing the test cube and it came out perfectly!

Been setting up my first actual print, I'm doing truescale Astartes of my own design. I've watched alot of 3DPrintingPro's videos regarding supports, but I'm worried about a few of the supports i've done here, mostly the ones under the boltgun. Is it likely for them to fail? I've tried to 'support the supports' as much as I can for these lengthy ones.

Also am I in the right ballpark with these settings? I'm using the Anycubic Green that comes with the printer.

WOW... I really love this Hero 3D resin. The colors are so vibrant and stay consistent throughout the model. It has a bit of give in the tiny areas so it doesn't break easily. Ok, I’ve never done the exposure test everyone is always talking about. Mainly because I’ve only used elegoo green to this point (been through about 8 1l bottles of it) but I’ve decided to switch to the grey as I think it’ll show in pictures better since I sell the stuff I print.

I watched a YouTube video on the exposure test, is it as complicated as it seems to get the file set up to print? I mean he sliced it in chitu, which I’ve never downloaded or used, only used chitubox. And then opened it in something else and make a ton of other changes. Is that right?

hi everyone, i've been lurking in the background for a while gleaming bits and bobs of info as they appear. I have one question that i haven't seen mentioned anywhere. Is it possible to extend the z height of the photon, could it just be mechanically done and settings changed, or are the limits pre progammed in the firmware.

After about a year of printing, I’ve finally started to notice some layer shifts in my larger, hollowed, prints. It’s not a huge deal but it’s fairly noticeable. Sometimes I overfill the resin vat, so I’ve disassembled and cleaned the build plate with IPA. Once it dries, I’ll re-level and try another print, but if that doesn’t work, what should my next step be? Thicker walls? Buy the Z-axis upgrade?

Edit: There are vent holes on the bottom of the model, on the surface that touches the build plate. Is this adequate or should I have had vents elsewhere?
