Hey All, I have a question i just started using ELEGOO ABS-Like 3D Printer Rapid Resin LCD UV-Curing Resin 405nm Standard Photopolymer Resin for LCD 3D Printing 1000Gram Grey off Amazon. After i soak it in 99% IPA for about 10 mins and then go over it with a soft toothbrush and re-dip a couple more time and go over it with the tooth brush again, then i have been curing it under a UV LED nail dryer for 20-30 mins. Is that the proper procedure? The Elegoo feels rubbery is that how it's suppose to feel? I like the detail and am happy with the outcome i just want to make sure i'd finishing the procedure? Thanks to all that can help me with this.

3D Print Design Challenge - I'm reaching out to people smarter as well as have more time than me. Originally I had planned to reverse engineer what I use, but due to rehabilitation from an operation thought it best to reach out to others since it can be a benefit to other users.

One of the main contributors to inconsistent resin prints is due to resin not being mixed thoroughly. When resin sits on a shelf, even for a couple weeks, simply shaking it is enough to get the buildup at the bottom. I use a spatula to mix up the stuff at the bottom short term. Long term though use a cheap amazon hot dog roller. The positive is that it is cheap ($15-30) compared to a scientific bottle roller ($1000+), but the negatives are it is cheap, breaks, poor design and not really designed for resin bottles.

I believe there can be a design that could be FDM/SLA/DLP printed, combined with power, electronics, controller ( Arduino Dieni ?) for the motor, rollers that could be created. Or maybe someone has already done this and I am just not searching for the right keywords.

Does anybody know what is the reason this happened (see picture).

Material; Siraya Blu (but happened also with Anycubic green)
Base layers: 5
Base layer exposure: 60
Layer expsosure: 12 sex
Heated enclosure: yes - c.a. 29 degrees

Positioning / orientation: as you can see flat on the buildplate.

Others: wallthickness and connection thickenss at that point is 1.2mm

Sorry for my not so clear pictures.

So I gave this guy a shot last night. The print did not fail but the amount of supports I had to put on him to make sure every island was taken care of was so overwhelming with all of his small details that he is a mess. I'm using the recommended settings that was on the community Google Document for the anycubic green but even right after it was done everything was so brittle. I always heard with resin printing the supports are so much easier to take off but these were still a big pain and still left marks all over my model. I loved how much detail he had in his face but the amount of supports I had to put in to make sure his teeth were supported made his face unrecognizable after the print.
I've done lots of research and watched lots of different peoples suggestions on how to support models but man I feel very disappointed in the quality that I'm getting due to all of the support damage. With my first model I used a combination of all three supports and with my Miniatures being so small the large supports were taking huge chunks. So I tried this time to put limited big supports to hold up the major areas and then support all the different Islands with Smalls.
Any thoughts from the community to point me in the right direction?
