Hey guys. Still very new here. Trying to print some files for a mini and having really mixed luck on the print. I have a Photon S. I’ve attached pictures. The “top” face of the print looks fine and is smooth (always room to tweak) but the bottom isn’t smooth. It’s a little rounded out and not clear. Is there a way to get that smooth as well so I don’t have to sand it? Or is that just a thing?

Also. I’ve had parts of my prints break off. What is a good auto support density to start with. I know I should learn to support myself but I’m not there yet.

My progress so far in working with this little guy. There is for sure a learning curve but luckily lurking in here has remedied most road blocks I’ve ran into so far. Now just need to work on cleaning my prints up to make them paint ready.

I'm looking for some new resin for my anycubic photon to print miniatures with, the translucent green it comes with is far too brittle. Any recommendations that aren't overly smelly but give a nice detailed and flexible/"tough" printed piece? TIA

Ok, finally got something other than the test cube to print. What causes it to lift off the base like this so I can fix it? I’m so close to getting this thing to print right.

EDIT to add: this was printed at .05, 10s exp time, 70s bottom layer exp, 8 bottom layers.

(I know this is asked 30 times a day, I am asking again)

I swear I have my photon level (i probably don't) but the resistance with the paper method is roughly equal on both sides, i noticed the left side sits slightly lower (the room's floor is quite uneven), can that cause an issue? should i shim the side or something?

If not is there a recommended way to level or just get better at paper leveling?

I have managed to get about 50-60% of the bed to print accurately and i plan on fighting with it at some point tomorrow so I figured I would ask.
