Wanted to share this.. you cannot beat a varible speed rotary tool (this one was 24.00 at walmart) with these bits shown beside it from harbor freight to remove supports. The supports you see on the back of the pumpjack are .25mm and the entire mode is so fragile using nippers shatters it when you try to clip them. Grinding away these tiny supports works so much better for me.

Well the first day with the PhotonS had some ups and downs. The lattice cube printed fine right out of the box and then I had failure after Failure...

I cleaned the machine and rechecked the level.

I’ve never had an issue with an ark from Hero Forge so I trusted it wasn’t a problem with the model

On a hunch I opened the cube file to check the settings that match the resin. At this point I decided to use the Photon workshop to slice instead of ChiTubox.

This seemed to solve the issue.

I still would like to see a higher resolution on the face and a good number of supports are welded to the body, but overall I’m pretty happy.

I have made a few prints with Anycubic Black resin, and I am absolutely in love with the results, but I need something less brittle. I've seen someone posting video of some black almost unbreakable resin, but now I can't find it. Anyone can recommend me a tough black resin? Cheers ? (UK)

The build plate for the Photon S looks like manufacture metal surface. There is a lot of talk about sanding the build plate. Is this only for the original photon? I think the build plate on the original Photon was painted is this true? I set the Photon S build plat on a piece of glass and can not push a piece of paper under any of the corners. I'm thinking the Photon S build plate should be good as is, no modifications should be necessary. Thoughts?
