I've been fighting with adhesion issues, and I'm wondering if my basement is too cold? It's about 60F/20C down there.

I had built this cabinet to dry painted parts, it's heated by a 200W ceramic heating element. It gets about 93F/34C in there if I close the door. There is no thermostat, so I'll have to moderate the temperature by opening the door a bit.

Now my question is, how warm is TOO warm? Will I have problems above a certain temperature?

I have the printer warming now, will try my first test print in about an hour.

Hello guys. Here are some results I had this first week with my Anycubic Photon. This model is an Ecorche by my anatomy teacher Rafa Souza. The face is okay. But in one of the legs and one of the arms, I noticed micro lines the surface is not smooth and detailed. it looks like the printer shook while printing ...Anyone have any idea what that may be?

love the egoo white...no fumes while printing...bit noticed supports are way harder to remove compared to the green resin...anyone else experienced the same issue or is it my slicing settings?

I once saw a really good detailed doc of how to set up files for printing with different programs to check for islands and supports and such. But I can't remember where I saw it, was it on here, the github or reddit? IF anyone knows what I'm talking about I'd love to see that doc again.

Hi everyone,

Looking for some help please!

So my machine arrived. ?
I set it up as per the instructions.
Levelled the bed with a sheet of paper, also levelled the machine itself.

Stuck the USB pen in that came with the machine and it refuses to read it.
So i put that usb pen in my computer and it reads fine. Copied the photon.photon file onto a couple mord usb pens i have and went back to the machine. After a couple of attempts i got one of them to load the test model.

Loaded the model a then poured the contents of the resin bottle that came with the machine into the vat.

Set it away and everything appeared to be going well.
The layer appears on the screen, as does thr percent complete and the current slice number.

It had roughly 1400 slices, i left the machine to run on it’s own and came back after about 500 layers,
Id set up a webcam and had been watching each layer, the bed moves up after each layer, then back down, as i would expect it to.
After the 500ish layers the bed was now sufficiently far out of the bed that i could see that nothing has stuck to the bed.
I could see through the liquid resin that the lcd screen was showing the current layer so im pretty confident that the screen isnt the issue.
At this point i cancelled the print.

I havent cleaned it out yet, but i can see that only a couple of layers have cured and appear to be in the bottom of the vat. There is nothing floating around in there.

Any ideas why this print might have failed?
Bed not level?
Bad batch of resin?
Just a failed print and i need to start again and get used to this happening?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, I finally, (2 days after I saw the mini print quality of it) purchased the anycubic photon. Very excited. Can't wait to get it in and set up. I'm sure I'll be back to ask 100 questions. Everyone seems so helpful, I defnitally found the right place!!
