Hey! First time hollowing a model, so here's a quick question:

How wide does the hole (or, two holes, right?) have to be for the resin to be able to go out or not produce any vacuum effect?

So I did an exposure finder test with the dice masters I was trying to print with the new resin. The numbers in blue are the exposure seconds.

Interestingly enough, they start getting printed at 8sec, but I did print a full bed at 9sec and I was missing detail. I feel I should be printing more towards 5, but it’s not until 8 that it prints (at least the support hang) correctly.

What are your thoughts? Should I thicken the primary support and print at lower exposure, or should I print at 8sec? Or maybe a mid term? Any ideas are welcome ?

Hi hi! I have another question ❤️

My prints are like this all the time (thinner closer to the back of the machine, thicker towards the opening), sticking more to one side than other. I’m very thorough with my leveling but I guess I didn’t level the bed correctly?

Any hints or tips? I tried both ways to level the bed and in any case it still prints but I’m certain it’s not how it’s meant to print.

Hey there!
I'm learning to read the exposure finder and as of now, I failed miserably :D

I'm going to print another one because my bed wasn't leveled correctly (or so it seems), but could you help me figure out if I'm on the right track when it comes down to settings?

I was currently printing at 0.02mm, 9sec exposure, and it seems that some holes didn't come out correctly (turned out covered) and it was a bit soft/thick.

Hey all!

I bought the Elegoo Gray resin, since many of you use it and recommend it.

Does anyone have good settings for for miniature printing?For the Anycubic Photon S at 0.02, that is :)

I know about the excel sheet but I'd rather ask here, since many of you probably tried and tweaked your settings already.

Quick question ☺️

If a print just finished and I want to put another one:

Should I clean the bed with IPA and start the print with the resin that is there?

Can I print without passing IPA on the bed?

Or do I have to clean both bed and FEP?

Hey again!

*Almost* a perfect print! But... this problem can’t be because of the bed leveling. The bed and FEP were also perfectly clean. What’s going on, why didn’t that one little figure stick to the bed?

It was a little bit shifted on the FEP, by the way. So it did stick for like 1-2 layers and then moved, I guess. How can I fix that? ?
