Ok need a little help. Trying to replace LCD screen and in not getting the square when testing the exposure in settings. get an LCD error when try to print so something isn't right.

Anyone replaced them before and I might be missing something that could cause it not to work?

So trying to decide between the photon and photon S. Not worried about price difference or what the case is made of. I care more about reliability abs print quality. Planning to do taller prints.

Hey all, I'm new to resin printing. I have an anycubic photon. I have checked the firmware its 4.2.x not 3.4.x. I have tried printing an FDG skeleton mini and part way through the print sticks to the FEP. I am using monocure rapid red resin.

I have tried the settings based on the google doc, and then from the website (longer exposure times, 11 seconds normal, 100 seconds bottom layers). I have re-leveled several times. I am not sure what is going wrong. Could someone please help me? Thank you in advance!

I have tried both the Flint Reid leveling method and the paper one from 3Dprintfarm.

Important Respiratory Protection Information regarding resins! I want to go ahead and post this information I've fallen back on numerous times in regards to Resin Saftey, specifically about respirators! Please look through the images in this post. This lovely post full of great resources comes from someone in the Ball Jointed Doll community - where pretty much everything is made of some form of mixed or cast resin or another. Since the resin materials are similar I felt it could apply to the use of Resin 3D Printers.
As always, you'll want to refer to the MSDS sheet or label with your individual resin product and follow the safety precautions. But as someone who knows at least 2 individuals that now suffer with Scardosis and other respiratory diseases/damages due to regular exposure to casting resin, sealants, paints, aerosols, etc. I want to share this to spread information, awareness, and most of all SAFETY! Since Ive seen a few videos and posts of people working with their resins without respirators.
Simply Holding your breath does not protect you from respiratory damage! Fumes will damage your lungs. particles from sanding will damage your lungs.
If you damage your lungs breathing is more difficult, and if you can't breathe or your lungs are compromised you could very well die as a side effect.
My Personal Thoughts: I, personally, treat every resin/plastic/casting material the same: It's a mixture of chemicals I barely know anything about the nature of, it's smelly, It burns my throat. So I really don't want it in my lungs. So I ALWAYS wear a respirator. When pouring, mixing resin, filling the vat, and any time I enter the room while my printer is running, when I remove the prints, empty the vat, and clean the prints. Basically once the Printing process begins up until the resin is fully sealed away, and the residual fumes smell is gone.

TLDR; I'm apparently an aspiring OSHA Employee, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to wear the proper saftey gear!
((Mods, feel free to let me know if I need to remove or edit this post! I don't want to come off as preach-y and naggy. But I want to share this info. Because I value the health and safety of myself and others over pretty much anything else. Thank you!))

I need a little help with the skin resin from Anycubic. I used the exposure settings on the spread sheet but both prints failed, tried with medium and heavy supports. To those that have printed successfully please share your settings at .050mm. Otherwise I will just have to switch to the Elegoo grey. Thanks.

Clint's almost ready to be printed! Just separated and keyed all of the meshes. Just a few minor touch ups and then mesh optimization.

I hope to start the actual print first thing tomorrow morning! :)
