You know the best part of the Photon? The community. Yea, our printer might not be perfect, but the group of you are the reason it really shines. From a few hundred to over 10k now, we’ve grown and are super active.

Yesterday, I posted that I needed help with a model, expecting some tutorials. Instead I was bombarded with people willing to help model, and interested to hear the results.

@20 kHz, for 2 hours, the cap WORKED. I tested 3 models, two fit and one meshed perfectly. It’s not important which model worked, because the point is that you guys came to the aid of a complete stranger without compensation. The spectra was clean, as the cap contained a chemical
profile that didn’t interfere with the experimental parameters. The chair of the department came to witness the test and is impressed. Might not mean much to you guys, but these are the people who hold my academic future in their hands. That path is a little brighter thanks to this group.

Good news - my idea of printing in two colors works. Bad news - Anycubic red (transparent) is not contrasting with Anycubic white. Next time i will try in different order.

well i was going to get a epax to go with my photon. but due to some miscalculations in my ability to not spend more money than i should i ended up buying a moai, should be here in a few days, hope i dont regret!

Hi all I am new to 3D printing and as yet I have not used my photon which arrived today however on loading the software I have experienced a proble I.e no grid on the screen and no images will upload so I have aged by about 10 years today all good fun also the men stick supplied with the printer does not appear to have the test piece present for me to print. Now I need a lie down
