So I had to do it, I had to sand my build plate down :(

Castable resin demanded it, last resort unfortunately. It was not perfectly flat no, but it never gave me problems with other resins. Now let's see if the BlueCast X10 sticks ?

I see that people seem to like the Siraya Tech resin. What size are the containers they have on Amazon? Has anyone tried the 'Easy' flavor.

The other day I messed up spray painting a part. There was a lot of run. I ended up soaking it in acetone and scrubbing it with a toothbrush to get all the paint off and it worked perfectly. I didn’t damage the model at all which was surprising.
If users are allowing their build plates or other areas to become gummed up with resin I don’t know how they will remove it if it hardens over time.
What dissolves hardened resin? I have another reason for asking because I have a printed circuit board idea. I would put a piece of copper clad on the build plate with double stick tape, set zero and cure several layers of the circuit. Then I would etch the board but what would easily dissolve the resin after? I had planned on acetone.

I've seen lots of pictures on here from people with prints sitting on perfectly clean beds. Mine remains covered in goo regardless of scraping or time allowed for dripping. Have they cleaned the beds and put the print back on there just to take a picture or is there something going wrong with mine?

Hi. Looking for advice on print orientation for the attached part if anyone can help please?

When printed with the long part straight up from the bed (like in pic 2), or at various slightly different angles, the other part bends somewhat.

If like in pic 3 then i get thinner banding on the top where the two join, along the horizontal...
