Dear all,
I am very new of this group as well as of the Photon. I have tried just 3 small prints and 2 of them ended attached to the FEP resin vat rather than on the building platform. since this seems to be a common problem to many Photon's users can you please give me a solution? I have used so far the aligning procedure suggested by Anycubic using the A4 paper with very poor results. Thanks a lot in advance

Hello friends! Thanks for letting me join your group! I've been 3D modeling and printing Dungeons & Dragons minis for the past four years, and decided this week to get a Photon to improve my resin printing this week.

I used a Nobel 1.0a for a year and found it to not be a very dependable machine. But I've only heard great things about the Photon so I'm going to give it a shot.

Do you guys have any tips and tricks for a newbie on this device? I'm sure there's a FAQ somewhere but I'm curious about your personal experiences. Thanks again and I can't wait to get started on this new machine :-D

Hi. Yet another problem here. I tried to print a railway car, which is simply a box without bottom. It came out pretty well except it's bent and strangely squeezed near its bottom. The sqeeze happened before the print finished. Surprisingly, no support failed. All supports are designed to be perpendicular to the Build Plate but those supporting the walls was squeezed as well. Any idea what might caused this? I guess this failure is subject to multiple errors I made. Maybe I should add more supports and/or make them thicker?

Size of the car: 106x23x32.5mm
Wall thickness: 1.5mm

AC transparent green basic, T0.05, E12, O1, BE60, BL8.
