I’ve been experimenting with formware works great but I can’t figure out how to make it stop placing supports against model which leaves scarring. Anyone know which setting tweaks angle?

New to the group just having got one for Xmas. I have seen how the Ameralabs water washable 3 black resin seems to have as little as 4-5 sec exposures and seems to be able to produce good quality details and prints.

Any experience of this resin? I am considering purchasing

After a lot of trial and error, here are the settings that are working for me with my photon.

Layer 0.05
Normal Exposure 12
Off time 6.5
Bottom exposure 115
bottom layers 8

heavy supports with contact depth at 0.35

I am using the White rapid resin.

Thanks for the various hints and tips here - they've really helped getting me dialed in.

So, something I’ve learned. Use nitrile rather than latex gloves when dealing with resin and IPA.

It (ipa or resin) was irriating my skin (not latex allergy or anything) I can only assume that latex wasn’t stopping it all.

Question:

I've been using Anycubic "Basic" Green resin up until now. I just ordered a re-supply from Amazon.

They sent me Anycubic "Dental Castable" Green resin.

Any differences I should note?

A wall thickness question.
When hollowing I've been re sizing the model in 3D builder to the correct size then hollowing with a 1.8-2mm thickness which works OK.
However I watched a video someone on here linked last week where the presenter hollows a model to a 1mm thickness THEN resizes it 50% effectively making the wall thickness 0.5mm
Will the photon print walls this thin well enough? (I have no intention to go to 0.5 but 1mm would be handy on the resin saving front when printing models to paint)..
