Had an oops moment over the weekend had finished a print topped up the vat a reinstalled build plate lil did i know i had forgotten to tighten the knob went to remove to fine it done the whole thing while lose. Here a some pics of that print its all good apart from where the supports where an still got the detail on the top

Does anyone have the best support settings for Chitubox V1.4.0? I used to get by just fine using medium supports for miniatures, but ever since the update, I've been having supports peter out and leaving gaps in my prints.

I typically use Elegoo Yellow or Grey.

Found out today that the stock vat fep has a protective film on both sides making it look cloudy. After removing it, wow, what a difference.

I'm really loving the resins I've been using from Siraya Tech. First Sculpt, and now Blue. Just finished this silicone sock mold the Mosquito hot end on the FDM machine I'm building, and it's damn near perfect on the first try.

I have completed and released a full CAD assembly of the original Photon. This was a weekend undertaking to build a complete model to share with the community for the purpose of designing addons and other mods. Below is a link to a STEP file of the assembly in Grabcad. Every component is represented and nearly every dimension was taken from the individual components using various metrology methods. Resolved tolerances on individual parts are small, enough to be used for production level design data, on full assembly relations a bit more. On parts that were difficult to measure or where my photon was maybe not near a nominal build I used my best judgement (having designed a few commercial products in my time). I hope this data can help others in developing community mods for the Photon and is for non-commercial use only.
