So I tried Flint Reeding on a friend's photon as he was not successful in his prints adhering to his prints today and noticed something odd (he's got one of the gen 1 models blue windows and all) the arm that holds the build plate crashes into the vat housing so he can't actually touch the plate to the Fep.
(In order to tighten the grub screw and ensure a flat build plate.) Does that mean he can't actually achieve zero? I've never noticed it before on the photons. Is this a known issue with the first gens? Or are we being dumb.

Another issue....
I replaced FEP film for a new anycubic one.
On my first try, I peeled the kind of protection film and screwed it like the Anycubic tutorial. The FEP was damaged after first print.
Second attempt, I did the same thing but didn't peel it before. Same result... One print and FEP film is down ?

10mm part. Anti-aliasing is on for the EPAX X1. This is why we need anti-aliasing turned on for the Photon.

This is wierd :\
Not sure if it is the LCD, Presistence of the negative of the mask or something else... but it dosen't look right.

If this is the LCD mask then i think it should be the opposite no?

Any ideas?

IT IS CONFIRMED > It's the mask and the second image is the presistent of vision that stays in the screen when we plug it off, kind of what happens when we look at the sun and close our eye after

Intermittent Z failure?

Seeing if anyone has had issues with the z just failing to move, then not moving at all. The machine continues to cycle the print. If left to run out the remainder, or if I press stop, the z still will not operate at all. When power is cycled on the machine it operates just fine.

I have tried the eproms reset, I have tried new firmwares, nothing fixes the issue.

Can anyone help?
