Question for the group... I developed a hole in my FEP before I noticed it and some resin adhered to my glass below the vat. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO REMOVE THIS HARDENED RESIN? Are there any safe chemicals to put on the glass or is it down to elbow grease? ALSO IS THERE ANY FILM ON THIS GLASS I NEED TO BE CAREFUL OF?

Some of you may remember my very frustrated and angry post from a few days ago. For the life of me, prints wouldn't stay stuck to my bed. They'd start off fine but pop loose. After lots of frustration and trial and error, with a sprinkling of assistance from group members here, nothing seemed to work. So my last ditch effort was to sand my plate. Low and behold I had two massively low spots on my bed. After 2 hours of slow methodical gentle sanding by hand, I managed to even the plate out. Somewhere in the process I managed to poke a hole in my last FEP. 5 days of failed prints. 2 hours of sanding. 2 more days waiting on new FEP. In 90 minutes we will see the results. So far it's looking good.

TL;DR Thank you all for your help and dealing with my frustration. Fingers crossed that sanding my plate smooth works.

Anyone ever have a print just stop? I was hours into this print. It was at 58%. I checked the printer and the bed was just sitting in the vat, but not doing anything. I hit pause and it raised up again. I hit start again and it told me the print was complete. What the heck?!

I always print things with a raft and supports. However, I am curious as to what the consequences would be if I print this directly off the build plate. I know its always recommended to build it supported and angled but what would happen if I didn't?
