Well, I got my printer to print again. Got a different flash drive, formatted it with FAT32, and copied this file onto it. Not sure why that would have worked, but it apparently did. I'm going to have to try doing the upgrade to 4.2.5 as well. I think it said I was at 4.2.1.

Ever since getting my new resin (Anycubic skin), I've been having a problem. The prints all come out with a "raft" at the bottom, the first few layers have a bit of extra resin cured around them. I'm using the suggested settings here https://docs.google.com/…/1crvzMnt_8NJXAsABinoIhcOjE8…/edit…

Can anyone give me some idea as to why this is happening? A large number of my prints don't require supports (i.e. are flat pieces) but they do need to be accurate from layer 1. Anyone?

Curious, when do you know it's time to replace the FEP Sheet?

I've been running daily prints for a few weeks now without issues. It's definitely not as clear as it was at the start but I'm not noticing any quality issues.

So what triggers a replacement? Damage only?

Is there an average number of runs that you recommend replacing?

Is there anyway to delete some of the supports when you do a autosupport setting ? I like the auto but sometimes it puts support in places that are not needed I can add extra if needed but can’t seem to delete any individual ones

It has happened finally! After about a dozen failed prints a champion has risen out from the depths of the resin vat. The Bat Man bust cometh!

But seriously the 2049 horse failed about 5 times in a row wasting a metric fuckton of resin. Also the Carnage bust failed a few times. Im going to try and work out the kinks and hopefully get some successful prints. I will post again explaining all the issues with the software, Im assuming others are having.

I can’t seem to get a photon to save my life, had to do a PayPal reversal with 3dprintersbay after 3 weeks of no response, then I bought one off eBay, a week later they refunded my money saying it was lost in the mail, is the universe trying to tell me something?
