Anyone know where i can get a new tank and build plate? Just bought on eBay for £119 and it arrived from Hungary (but the seller said they were in London)

Seller said in the description the FEP would need replacing but there is no tank or build plate.

Also now looking at the pics there seems to be what looks like resin between the lcd and the plastic touchscreen and also seller said it has the 'Z' wobble. Its more like 'Z' on the pi$$ and when you try and move it you hear the motor turning but nothing happens.

Gonna take it a part and see what has happened and worst case it can be repairs but at least I will have a spare uv display, lcd screen, mother board and I may be able to make a UV curing chamber from the case.

But going back the the Z axis issue, if it can be fixed would the dual z axis kit help. Will upload pics soon but at the moment putting poorly baby boy to bed..

What an idiot I am. Went to print to print a baby yoda and filled my tank. Put the print on the usb stick started to print.

Heard the sucking sound. After a few hours went and checked. Nothing there.

That’s when I realised what I had done.

I had only gone and filled the tank up with my wife’s TRESemmé shampoo and not resin.

So my question is how do you get resin out of hair?

On the plus side the room no longer smells of resin, just shampoo!

This has to be the best item I have 3d printed..

We used really flexible resin. Fine tuned all the settings.

We did have a failed print on Christmas day 2017. But we went back to the drawing board and made sure all the settings were right and it stuck to the build plate. Took 9 months to print but was worth it.

The resin used what great and true to the manufactures word it grows in size.

Been told it take 18 year to cure. So far 1 year has passed so only another 17 to go!

Is this a good sound or is it bad?

It has stopped doing it now. It seemed to be doing it while printing the base to a baby Yoda.

It sounds like it is farting!

Well here is my first successful print on the photon. I had to use the anycubic slicer (not the workshop software)

I cannot get a print to stick if I use chitubox. I have used the same settings from the slicer in chitubox.

This was made using technology outlet grey. I will be getting some anycubic resin so fingers crossed chitubox will work with the standard settings and the I can fine tune it..
