Question about cleanup - I am not willing to put IPA in an ultrasonic cleaner, but would it be effective if I washed in IPA for a few minutes and then did a few minutes in an ultrasonic cleaner filled with de-ionised water?

Any other clean up tips? Seems to be where I struggle the most atm.

Any recommended USB sticks brands that are known to work (usually)? One of the first things I did was get a replacement USB stick instead of the stock one, but with it I'm getting a lot of Memory error code: M_11820 mid-print right now.

Resin exposure times, I know we love to share this spreadsheet but honestly, these numbers don't even seem right for most of these brands/colors. It literally never gets updated with new info. I don't trust this spreadsheet at all and every time anyone shares it, I cringe a little. How can we come together as a group and really get this spreadsheet calibrated / updated? Or... Just do the resin test and figure it yourself seems to work 100% :p

So apparently, the FEP film you get from anycubic has a protective film on it. I did not see that mentioned in their video on changing it ? . Do you think its possible to remove the fep, take the film off and reinstall or am I just boned on this one? I ordered some new FEP anyway from McMaster but wont be in until tomorrow.

Hi guys,

Noob needs some help..

So I purchased Wanhao black resine for my regular Photon and it is most shitty resin so far (before used Anycubic green, yellow, red).

Resin looks symbolic(like black liquid from Alien universe), so I decided to print out an Alien model ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3816290 ) as single peace.

Yesterday was first try:
0.1 layer thickness
16 main exposure
100 base exposure
Default Light-off delay
10 layers bottom
Heavy supports (auto + several added manually + Photon validator at the end)

And model fell down from supports approx. in 2-3 hours before finish (like it shown on the picture with paper towel).

This morning I decided to improve everything:
- placed model in the best possible angle to fit the plate
- main exposure changed to 18
- added connection depth in heavy support settings and made auto+validator again.

Just came back and found that model fell down again (pic from Photon inside).
So far I see-it printed more parts, still it failed..

Please help - what I did wrong?
I’ll post screenshot from Chitubox with last supports/angle look.
