I’m thinking of getting a Photon for mechanical prototyping and product development.

Are resins that cure UV-stable available? And ideally I’d need a small amount of flex. I’m thinking of developing camera fittings so the end product needs to go outside and take a few knocks.

And are there resins that cure with rubber-like properties, so I could make cushioning parts?

$12 fume box. The box is what amazon shipped it in, duct tubing from hardware store, and a sheet of anything to seal with a window. Meat thermometer optional just to monitor the temperature

Hey guys... trying to print this model... Can't get it to work at all, tried pretty much every rotation and support method.

Using Asura to make support, then using photon standard slicer.

If you go flat bottom to the build plate the pressure gets too big and it rips the sides of the print, If I support it with the small opening towards the build plate (but not touching, so it relieves pressure and then support all around the rim) then I can't get the supports to hold onto the print well enough to actually keep it attached!!

Using Standard 405nm anycubic clear resin

(image below I printed flat base straight on the bed and pressure ripped it!)

Any advice!

Does anyone use an Ultrasonic cleaner for their post-processing? I'm thinking of getting one, but I have concerns if it's safe to use with IPA. Right now I'm just washing my prints in a big pyrex dish of IPA but I feel like having a system would be better.
